Terms & Conditions
All of the products included in our hampers are gluten free, either labelled (& therefore tested) gluten free or just gluten free by ingredient. Please be aware that some of our suppliers do also manufacture products that contain gluten. However the production, storage and packaging of their gluten free products follow strict protocols to prevent cross contamination. There are no May Contains. All products are therefore safe for coeliacs.
We also offer both dairy free and vegan hampers.

We can create a custom hamper to suit most foodies struggling with additional food intolerances. Please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to make an enquiry. Please note an additional admin fee of $10.00 is added to all Custom Hampers to allow for the extra time involved in customising orders to unique specifications.
We do not accept returns or offer replacement of products for change of mind. Where a product is deemed faulty or an error in supply has been made by us we will always offer a replacement or refund. Please contact us at email@example.com if you need to discuss a potential return or replacement of goods.
We do not provide a guarantee regarding the safe delivery of the hampers. While we choose to engage only reputable couriers to minimise any courier error, once the hamper has been collected by the courier it is no longer our responsibility. Any request for a replacement hamper due to courier error will be declined. It is the customers responsibility to provide an address that is accurate and safe for the delivery of the hamper. It is recommended that you purchase delivery insurance if you are concerned.
Can I have my parcel delivered to a PO Box?
At this time we do not have the capacity to ship to PO Boxes or to Locked Bag addresses.
Can I nominate to have my parcel EXPRESS delivered?
Yes you can! We offer an express delivery service for a nominal extra charge of $10 per hamper Australia wide. Express parcels are couriered by air, using Startrack premium, allowing them to be delivered to most Australian metro areas within 24-48 hours from pick up.

Can I make a change to the receivers address after I have confirmed my order?
Yes and no.
If sent by Regular Shipping, we cannot amend a delivery address once the courier has collected your hamper order. In the case of incorrectly addressed parcels, we will need to wait for the parcel to be returned to Gluten Free Joy by the courier before it can be resent to the correct address. The customer is liable for the additional delivery costs and any possible product replacement in this circumstance. In the situation where an address error has been made by Gluten Free Joy we will immediately resend a new hamper to the correct address at our cost.
Should an address change be made prior to the order being lodged with the courier (ie. before 7pm the day prior to pick up), we will do our best to make the change for you without charge. On occasion during peak busy times requests for address changes may not be seen by our team in time, in which case a change may not be possible, or the sender will be liable for any associated change in delivery cost. This delivery cost discrepancy can either be paid by bank transfer prior to hamper dispatch, or the sender can instead nominate items of equal value to be removed from the hamper.
If you have chosen our EXPRESS courier option however, we can ask for a redirect mid-delivery, although there is no guarantee that it will be possible, as it depends on the options available for each particular delivery.
Can I send hampers to different addresses?
If you would like to send hampers to two different addresses you will need to create two separate orders. It will involve two separate delivery payments & labels to be created.
Is the receiver sent a copy of the purchase invoice?
No, only the sender receives a copy of the purchase invoice. The receiver will only be notified of the hamper type.
Is the receiver automatically notified who sent them the hamper?
No. The address label states that the hamper has been sent from Gluten Free Joy. The only way the receiver will know who sent the hamper will be if you have included your name in the message written on the gift card.
Can I send a hamper outside of Australia?
Our hampers are delivered Australia wide, but cannot be sent overseas.
Can I choose to have my parcel left at a Safe Drop Location should the recipient not be home at time of delivery?
All of our hampers are automatically sent with an ‘Authority To Leave’ notification. If you would prefer it to be taken to a Safe Drop Location should the receiver not be home at the time of delivery, please make note of this in the order comment section. The receiver will then be notified by the courier in case of a failed delivery attempt, with instructions on where to collect the parcel.
Can I choose to have my parcel delivered on a specific day or at a specific time?
Our courier is able to give an approximate delivery estimation from pick up once the parcel is logged (please refer to the SHIPPING PAGE for general estimates), and provides you with generalised tracking information via an email & text link. However we cannot schedule delivery on a specific day. Pick up can be delayed if you are making the purchase quite ahead of the occasion you are wishing to celebrate (well done you for being so organised!), but this again can only be approximate.
Is there a possibility that some of the chocolate products in the hamper might melt?
Some of our products are quite heat sensitive, particularly the vegan chocolate products. For this reason our hampers are sent with chiller packs and foam bead insulation to help prevent spoilage from warm weather. However, in the heat of summer there is some possibility of heat damage for long transit parcels. Please be aware of this when choosing the type of hamper you wish to have delivered. Additionally, in the Comments section of the order, please indicate a cool spot (out of direct sun) for the package to be placed by the courier, or leave out an esky. On occasion we may elect to postpone courier pick up of a heat sensitive hamper on a Thursday or Friday if there is a high likelihood the parcel will need to be in a transit hot warehouse over a weekend.
We are not liable for any damage to product quality as a result of its transit to you/your recipient. It is recommended that you leave a cooler/esky out in situations of extreme heat conditions or if it will not be possible for the parcel to be left in the shade should the receiver not be home when delivered.
What happens if my parcel gets lost during delivery?
We do not replace parcels lost by the courier. Where possible, if courier error can be ascertained, we will seek compensation from the courier & will replace the parcel once a refund is confirmed. However in most situations a replacement is not approved by the courier company. If you do not have a safe place for the parcel to be left we recommend you add insurance cover to your order in case of possible theft.
What happens if some of the products for my chosen hamper become out of stock after I have placed my order?
As we include many products in each order it is not always possible to maintain up to date notifications should the occasional product become out of stock. In such circumstances we will replace the product with another of similar value. If the out of stock item is typically a favourite within a certain hamper, we will notify you to give you the option of choosing a different hamper, or specifically nominating which replacement product you prefer.
Can I create a customised hamper?
Unfortunately we do not have the operational capacity to add wholly customised hampers to our range at this stage. However we are more than happy to adjust a hamper with a product or two to make it better suited to your recipient. If such changes result in a pricing discrepancy &/or a higher delivery charge, you will be notified and further payment will be required.
We do love to make our customers happy…so while customised hampers are not a regular provision right now, we always welcome such requests in special circumstances, and if we can make it happen we will. Do you offer corporate gifting?
Absolutely! We would love to create the perfect gift that will bring foodie joy to your employees and lets them know how much you appreciate them. We can offer completely customised hampers for any corporate orders of 10 or more. Our gourmet hamper inclusions are chosen specifically for being outrageously yum for anyone, not just the gluten free crowd, and we can guide you towards the products that are our most loved by everyone.
We can also create a couple of further customised hampers to cater for individuals who also require dairy free or vegan options. You will be able to choose either a uniform message on each card, or a separate message for each employee.
With corporate orders of 20 or more we can also provide your personalised branding on the hampers, and a printed personalised gift card. We require 21 days notice for branded corporate hamper orders.

You better believe it!* We love to support local Australian businesses that love on the gluten free community by producing product that is not just gourmet, but also so so gorgeous. We do not include product readily found on supermarket shelves. Part of our mission is to provide the gluten free community with exclusive gourmet products that gifts them a foodie experience they usually have to miss out on. So we do all the research…scouring exclusive gourmet foodie outlets & markets… to create hampers that are not just wow, yum & beautiful, but also support local small businesses.
